Our client came to us with a clear brief: they needed a practical and modern bathroom and laundry space that would make better use of their underutilised subfloor area.
With no existing wet area downstairs, the goal was to excavate and convert the space beneath the home into a functional extension that seamlessly connected to the main house.
From a construction perspective, this was a complex build. We had to manage water run-off to prevent future flooding, maintain the integrity of the home's existing structure, and ensure the new space could be accessed internally all while working within the constraints of an older property.
The finished result is a beautifully integrated bathroom and laundry zone that feels both practical and refined. With clean lines, clever layout decisions, and a timeless palette, the space offers all the utility the family needed without compromising on style. The client was thrilled, and so are we.

We recently completed a bathroom renovation project in Rozelle, which involved adding a new bathroom and laundry space to the subfloor area of the house.
