This Avalon renovation involved converting part of the existing master bedroom into a beautifully integrated ensuite bathroom. The client’s brief was to create a refined yet relaxed space, practical for daily use, but elevated in design. To optimise functionality, we installed a sliding door with dual access from both the hallway and bedroom, allowing seamless flow while maintaining privacy.
The design centred around timeless textures and calming tones. Spanish stone-look tiles were paired with brushed brass tapware and a custom timber vanity, creating a warm and sophisticated finish. Subtle curves, clean lines and functional elements like a recessed shower niche and frameless walk-in shower completed the look.
One of the major challenges was working plumbing through the upstairs roof space and behind the master bed’s head wall to create a functional, concealed layout. This required careful coordination between trades to deliver a seamless result without compromising the structural integrity or aesthetic flow of the home.
The end result is a timeless, light-filled ensuite with thoughtful design and high-end finishes, a beautiful blend of practicality and polish.
